The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band

We're lucky enough to count the Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band among our good friends and are excited to bring their blend of traditional thai molam, folk-rock, and dub to som saa. 

The DJ duo of Maft Sai and Chris Menist have been credited with reviving 60s and 70s Thai pop tunes through their 'Sound of Siam' compilations. The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band was born when they brought all this together with the traditional phin lute and khaen - more or less a giant bamboo harmonica. The sound - traditional Thai styles with hearty western bass. We're still trying to work out when they might be able to play in the bar. Until then, have a listen...
